Our Materials

We have a showroom that you’re able to visit, and this allows you to see our range of kitchen worktops. We offer an excellent variety of materials, including marble, granite, and engineered stone. A consultation is carried out, and this is usually helps to work out the cost of a project. We discuss size, materials, and more, and then make the final arrangements. Once you’re booked in, we usually need seven days to procure the materials. As soon as we have them, we decide a time for supply and fitting.

Engineered Stone

Quartz is an engineered stone made from natural quartz, resins, polymers, and pigments. Being manmade, it is available in lots of colours and styles, and these aren’t available from natural materials. It is extremely durable and has great antibacterial properties, making it brilliant for kitchen worktops. Quartz is also excellent for use as bathroom cladding, vanity tops, and tabletops.

Sintered Stone

Similar to Quartz, Sintered Stone is manufactured using a base of natural stone, however it’s different in that it’s entirely made from natural materials, which are compacted under huge pressure and heat, usually 1,200ºC, and formed into incredibly strong, as well as durable, slabs that have a wide range of applications. This process is called sintering.
